The Dakota County Law Library in Hastings is hosting an open house on Friday, September 17 to celebrate Constitution Day. Stop in between 10:00am and 2:00pm for constitutional trivia, refreshments and to pick up a personal copy of the constitution. Constitution Day has been designated as a time to recognize and reflect on the document that created our country. On September 17, 1787 the constitution was signed by 38 men from 12 colonies, thus putting into place the oldest and shortest written constitution in the world. The Law Library is located on the 2nd floor of the Judicial Center. The address is 1560 Highway 55, Hastings. Questions about the event can be directed to Liz Reppe at 651-438-8244.
