The LeDuc book group will hold their November meeting on Thursday, November 4 at 6:30 p.m. at the LeDuc Historic Estate. This month's selection will be Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society by Mary Ann Shaffer. The LeDuc Historic Estate hosts such a group every first Thursday of the month with a book group that is a partnership between the Dakota County Historical Society and Dakota County's Pleasant Hill Library. The LeDuc Book Group has been meeting for the past several years in the very library that General LeDuc met to discuss literature with his contemporaries. New members are always welcome. The historic home is located at 1629 Vermillion Street in Hastings.
This book group is lead by Pleasant Hill Library Branch Manager Allan Cotter. People may check out the book at the Pleasant Hill Library. For more information regarding the LeDuc Book group, please call 651-438-0200.
