The American Red Cross and Northfield Hospital prepares young people to be babysitters through a six-hour, one-day class. A certified instructor will focus on leadership, basic care, safety and safe play, as well as some first aid.
It is still possible to register for the class taking place this Saturday, October 9, or choose from one of four other Saturdays this fall and winter – October 30, December 4, January 29, or February 12, from 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. at Northfield Hospital. The American Red Cross stipulates that students must be between the ages of 11-14. The cost is $45.
