Make Your Own Gingerbread House at the Library

     Children and their families are invited to the Pleasant Hill Library for an evening of fun and creativity making personal Gingerbread Houses for the Holidays.  The event is scheduled for Thursday, December 9 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.  Families may come and go as time permits.  This event is geared for families with children of all ages.

Holiday Fun with ECFE at the Library

Children age 3 to 5 years old are invited to the Pleasant Hill Library on Friday, December 17 for a morning filled with holiday related activities, stories, games and crafts.  This event is co-sponsored by the Hastings Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) and the Pleasant Hill Library.  The theme for this program is "Gingerbread Boy".  There is no charge for the event, but registration is required.  To register, visit the library website at www.co.dakota.mn.us.  People interested in attending this event may also call the library at 651-438-0200 or visit the front desk of the library to register.

 

Chica Chica Boom Baby Story Time

Babies and their caregivers are invited to a special story time on Monday, December 13 at 10:15 a.m. in the Pleasant Hill Library meeting room.  Babies age newborn to 24 months will enjoy a morning filled with stories, songs, bounces and playtime geared to entertain and educate babies. Story time is free, and no registration is required.  For more information, call the library at 651-438-0200.

                                                  

Choo Choo Here Comes Story Time!

Toddlers and preschoolers are invited to story times at the Pleasant Hill Library this week for a morning of fun-filled activities and stories about trains.

Toddler story time is scheduled for Tuesday, December 14 at 10:30 a.m.  Toddlers will enjoy a morning of train stories, rhymes, songs and activities selected to entertain as well as develop early literacy skills. 

 Preschoolers, age 4 to 6 years old, are invited to their own story time on Wednesday, December 15 at 10:30 a.m.  Preschoolers will enjoy a morning filled with books, music and movement activities all geared around a train theme.  Activities during story time help build language and listening skills in children.  Children will also be able to create a  train related craft which they may take home with them. There is no charge for story times, and no registration is required.  For more information, call the library at 651-438-0200.

                                                

Story Time Before Snooze Time: Join Your Friends and Family for Bedtime Story Time at the Library

Children of all ages and their families are invited to a special evening family bedtime story time on Thursday, December 16 at 6:30 p.m.  The evening will be filled with stories, crafts, and special activities all centered around trains.  There is no charge for story time, and no registration is required.  For more information, call the library at 651-438-0200.
