Robert Trail Library announces Book Discussion Group selection for December
The Robert Trail Library Book Discussion Group will discuss Cry the Beloved Country by James Baldwin on Tuesday, December 28, 2010, at 7 p.m. in the library's Westmeath Meeting Room. The Robert Trail Library Book Discussion Group meets the last Tuesday of every month. Meetings are free and open to anyone who enjoys reading and discussing books. Chef John Michael Lerma to Visit Robert Trail Library
Local chef, author and television personality John Michael Lerma – a regular on KSTP's Twin Cities Live, Fox 9 Morning News, and KARE 11 – will be cooking Italian at the Robert Trail Library on Sunday January 16, 2011 from 2-3:30 p.m. The program is part of Dakota County Library's Minnesota Mosaic® series, now in its 15th year, and is funded with money from Minnesota's Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund. The menu includes Prosciutto Wrapped Figs, Smoked Mozzarella and Venetian Lasagna, as Mr. Lerma explores Minnesota's Italian heritage with some of his best family recipes. Registration for this event starts on January 2 and is limited to 20. Author Stew Thornley to Speak at Robert Trail Library
Stew Thornley, author of numerous books, including Baseball in Minnesota and Six Feet Under: A Graveyard Guide to Minnesota will speak at the Robert Trail Library on Tuesday January 18, 2011 from 7-8 p.m. Mr. Thornley has also co-authored biographies of Ray Christenson and Herb Carneal.
