Teen Events at the Library in January

We'll be starting the year off with some fun activities for teens at the Pleasant Hill Library.  Tuesday January 18 we will be playing rock band and other  Wii games from 3 to 4.  Snacks are provided and any teen between 12 and 17 are welcome to come.

On Monday January 24 from 4 to 5:30, Henna artist Victoria Welsh will be teaching teens to about Henna and how to make henna body art, use and to use henna for hair and nail color.  No registration is required and but space is limited so teens should show up early to get a seat.  This is a Minnesota Legacy program.  Legacy programs are funded in part or in whole with money from the vote of the people of Minnesota, which dedicated funding to preserve Minnesota's art and cultural heritage.

Tuesday, January 25 is the TAG (Teen Advisory Group) meeting.  This is a group of teens interested in advising the library on material selection and in volunteering at the library.  Teens between 12 and 17 that are interested in joining the TAG or finding out more are welcome to come to a meeting and check it out.
