The Friends of the Pleasant Hill Library will host their annual Winter Used Book Sale on Friday, February 18, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Saturday, February 19, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The sale will be held in the meeting room of the Pleasant Hill Library, located at 1490 South Frontage Road in Hastings. Beginning at 1 p.m. on Saturday, items will be sold at half price.
Many items will be for sale during the event, including gently used books, DVDs, CDs, video and audiocassettes, puzzles and games. Books include hard covers, as well as paperbacks. Items for children, teens and adults will be sold at the Winter Used Book Sale. Proceeds from the sale are used to fund and enhance library services and programs throughout the year.
People may still contribute gently used books and other materials for the sale. Items will be accepted until February 13. People may drop their donations in the green container in the lobby.
