When I was your age! Celebrate Grandparents Day at Dakota County libraries

Stories, art and games are just some of the ways to celebrate Grandparents Day at Dakota County libraries. National Grandparents Day is the first Sunday after Labor Day, Sept. 12, but the libraries will host events and activities throughout the month.

 

Children are encouraged to bring a grandparent or "grandfriend" to the library to enjoy a variety of programs that are sure to create lasting memories between grandparents and grandchildren. Enjoy intergenerational stories and songs, a game of Scrabble, a morning of gift-making, or creating a memory book. Grandparents Day activities are planned through Sept. 29 at libraries throughout Dakota County.
