Rolling along: Upcoming meetings being held on Cedar Avenue Bus Rapid Transit and the proposed 161st Street station
There are two upcoming opportunities for residents and businesses in Dakota County to get information and provide input on the Cedar Avenue Bus Rapid Transit project.
On Oct. 21 from 7:30–9 a.m. Dakota County will host a project update meeting at the Western Service Center in Room L139. County staff will provide information about the Cedar Avenue Bus Rapid Transit Project while gathering information from residents and businesses about a proposed station near 161st Street and Cedar Avenue in Lakeville.
On Thursday, Nov. 4 from 4 – 6 p.m. the county will host an open house in the atrium of the Western Service Center. During the open house residents and businesses owners will be able to provide feedback about the proposed 161st Street station, a walk-up station for Cedar Avenue Bus Rapid Transit users. Business owners and residents will be able to view potential locations for station stops near 161st Street and discuss concerns about potential modifications to access to Cedar.
